Have you got old photos or information relating to the chapel? We will gratefully receive such items, and assure careful handling and return of any items sent to us.
We envisage the Society fulfilling a number of roles within the town, and we are currently forming a sub-group to conduct a survey of the town’s buildings, in order that we can update, and encourage the enlargement of, the current conservation area. Contact has been made with S.K.D.C. who are supportive of the project.

Our first project will be the restoration of the cemetery chapel featured throughout the site, and this continues to move forward. A way forward is identified and both Bourne Town Council and ourselves are meeting regularly to progress the project. The intention of the Society is that the building will be restored and again be suitable for use as Chapel for funeral services. We will also be adding a Columbarium, and a Book of Remembrance.
Watch us progress as we continue on the road to restoring the cemetery chapel in Bourne. Our progress can be followed on this website in a special section devoted to the Trust.
Watch for it soon.
